How to Assemble a Mirror Shoe Cabinet: Complete Step-by-Step Setup Guide

Most of our ready-made shoe cabinets are delivered as flat-packed components. This beginner-friendly guide allows customers to finish assembly without hiring professional installers. We cover tool preparation, detailed assembly steps, common problem fixes and safety tips specially designed for mirror shoe cabinets.

Step 1:

36 × M3.5 x 12mm Screw  (E)

1.1:Lay one mirror door flat with the back side facing up.

1.2:Align the aluminium handle with the preset holes, fasten it to the door using M3.5 x 12mm screws

1.3:Align 2 hinges with the mounting positions on the back of the door, secure each hinge with M3.5 x 12mm screws.

1.4:Repeat the above operations for all 6 mirror doors.

Step 2:(Warning:Do not use an electric drill.)

16 × M3.5 x 12mm Screw          (E)

2.1:Place the bottom panel flat with the back side facing up

2.2:Align 4 metal legs with the preset holes at the four corners of the bottom panel. Fasten each leg with 4 pieces of M3.5 x 12mm screws (16 screws in total).

2.3:Screw 4 pieces of M5 x 35mm cam bolts into the connection holes at both ends of the bottom panel, for subsequent assembly with side panels.

Step 3:(Warning:Do not use an electric drill.)

20 × M5 x 35mm Cam Bolt            (A)

3.1:Lay both side panels flat with their inner sides facing upward

3.2:Screw 16 M5 x 35mm cam bolts into the pre-drilled holes on the top ends and inner sides of the side panels.The remaining four are screwed into the four corners of the top panel.

3.3:The remaining four cam bolts are screwed into the four corners of the top panel.

Step 4

4.1:Lay the left side panel flat with its inner side facing up, exposing the pre-installed cam bolts.

4.2:Align the 2 partition panels with the corresponding mounting holes on the inner side of the left panel, and fit them onto the cam bolts.

4.3: Align the two back bar supports with the mounting positions on the back edge of the left panel, and fit them onto the cam bolts.

4.4:Insert 6 D15×10mm cam locks into the matching lock holes, turn clockwise to lock and secure all components.

Step 5

Parts used

6 × Vent Plug

2 × Back Panel (1740×304×5mm)

5.1:1. Press all 6 vent plugs into the reserved holes on the two back panels until they are fully seated.

5.2:Align the first back panel with the back mounting grooves of the assembled left panel and partition frame, then snap it into place.

5.3:Install the second back panel in the same way, and keep the joint of the two back panels flush and aligned.

5.4:Fix the remaining back bar support at the middle joint of the two back panels to secure the back panels and reinforce the cabinet structure.

Step 6:

1 × Right Side Panel (from Step 3, 1730×320×15mm)

8 × D15×10mm Cam Lock  (B)

6.1:Take the right side panel with pre-installed cam bolts, align it with the edges of partition panels and back bar supports.

6.2:Fit the right side panel onto the exposed cam bolts, ensure all bolts fit into the matching holes smoothly.

6.3:Insert 8 D15×10mm cam locks into the lock holes on the outer side of the right side panel.

6.4:Turn each cam lock clockwise to lock tightly, so that the right side panel is firmly connected to the whole cabinet frame.

Step 7

Parts used

1 × Bottom Panel (from Step 2, with pre-installed metal legs and cam bolts)

1 × Top Panel (from Step 3)

8 × D15×10mm Cam Lock

7.1: Place the assembled side panel frame on its side, align the connection holes of the bottom panel with the cam bolts at the bottom of the side panels, and fit it into place.

7.2: Align the connection holes of the top panel with the cam bolts at the top of the side panels, and fit it into place.

7.3:Insert 8 D15×10mm cam locks into the corresponding lock holes on the outer side of the side panels (4 for the bottom connection, 4 for the top connection).

7.4: Turn all cam locks clockwise one by one to lock tightly, so that the bottom panel and top panel are firmly connected to the whole cabinet frame.

Step 8:

Parts used

6 × Assembled mirror doors (with handles & hinges, from Step 1)

48 × M3.5 x 12mm Screw (E)

8.1: Place the fully assembled cabinet upright and keep it steady.

8.2: Hold one mirror door against the cabinet, align its hinges with the preset holes on the inner side of the side panel.

8.3 Secure each hinge to the cabinet side panel with 4 pieces of M3.5 x 12mm screws.

8.4 Install all 6 mirror doors in the same way, using all 48 screws (12 hinges in total, 4 screws per hinge).

Step 9:

6 × Shelf (598 x 298 x 12mm)(6)

9.1:Confirm the mounting height for each shelf based on your storage needs, and find the matching pre-drilled holes on the inner side of both side panels.

9.2:Insert the two types of shelf supports into the corresponding holes on the left and right side panels. Keep the supports on both sides at the same height and fully aligned.

9.3:Place all 6 shelves onto the shelf supports steadily one by one.

9.4:Press each shelf lightly to check that it sits flat, stable and does not wobble.

Step 10:

Parts used

8 × Black Panel Buckle(J)

8 × M3.5 x 14mm Screw(K)

10.1.:Find the buckle mounting positions at the joints between the back panels and the cabinet frame.

10.2:Hook each black panel buckle onto the edge of the back panel, and align the screw hole on the buckle with the pre-drilled hole on the cabinet.

10.3:Fasten each buckle with 1 piece of M3.5 x 14mm screw. All 8 buckles and 8 screws are used up.

10.4:Check all buckles to make sure they are tight, and the back panels are firmly fixed without looseness.

Step11:

4 × Anti-tip Kit(T)

[Warning Notes

1.This anti-tip fixing kit must be fully installed, otherwise the cabinet may tip over and cause injury.

2.Confirm the wall material matches the M8x38mm anchors before drilling; do not use unsuitable wall plugs.

3.Do not let children climb, lean or hang on the cabinet doors and shelves.

4.Tighten all screws and straps completely; check the fixing tightness regularly.

5.The cabinet must be closely attached to the wall; gaps between wall and cabinet are not allowed.]

11.1:Move the cabinet to its final position against the wall, and mark the corresponding mounting points on the wall.

11.2:Drill holes at the marked positions, then insert all 4 M8 x 38mm anchors into the wall holes.

11.3:Fix the 4 anti-tip kit brackets onto the wall and the rear top of the cabinet respectively, using 4 pieces of M3.5 x 35mm screws.

11.4:Connect the wall brackets and cabinet brackets with 2 wall straps. Fasten both ends of each strap with M3.5 x 14mm screws to secure the cabinet and prevent tipping over.

Step 12

Parts used

2 × L Mounting Bracket(L)

2 × Wall Anchor(M)

2 × M3.5x25mm Screw(N)

4 × Washer(O)

2 × M3.5x14mm Screw(P)

1. Align the L mounting brackets with the reserved fixing positions on the upper side of the cabinet.

2. Place washers between brackets and cabinet, then fasten brackets to the cabinet with 2 pieces of M3.5x14mm screws.

3. Mark wall positions corresponding to the outer holes of L brackets, drill holes and insert 2 wall anchors into the wall.

4. Fit washers on M3.5x25mm screws, pass through bracket holes and screw into wall anchors to lock the cabinet side firmly against the wall.
